Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Ghorepani & Poon Hill explores the Annapurna conservation area. It is a 15 days adventurous trek in the Annapurna region through lush forest, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful villages. This trek takes you to two famous places like Poon hill and Annapurna base camp. The Annapurna Base Camp Trekking with Ghorepani & Poon Hill also lets you witness the mountain lifestyle. 

Trekking through remote villages like Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali, you will reach the Annapurna Base Camp. The trail passes by many dense forests, crossing several bridges. While trekking through the mountain villages, you will get to see people from different communities doing their daily activities. The trail lets you watch the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the locals. 

Upon reaching the ABC, you will be greeted with panoramic views of snow-capped mountains like Annapurna Range (8,091 m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and so on. Before leaving the trail, you will pass by Jhinu Danda. This place is famous for natural hot springs, where you will spend some time soaking your sore muscles.

Itinerary

Land at the Tribhuvan International Airport. One of our team representatives will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Later, in the evening, you will join a welcome dinner organized by the company and meet with other team members.

The day begins early, and you will visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc. In the afternoon, meet with the trek guide and get to know about the trail.

You will drive to Pokhara today. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will get transferred to the hotel. In the evening, do boating on Phewa Lake and explore the streets of Lakeside.

Today, you will drive for around an hour and reach Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From here, walking along the Modi Khola, the trail will take you to Birethanti. Further, the trail passes by a village and ascends to Hile. A short climb from here will take you to Tikhedhunga.

You will begin trekking on a steep path and reach Ulleri. From here onwards, the trail gradually ascends through a beautiful forest of oak and rhododendron. Passing by Banthanti and Nangethanti, you will reach a lovely Ghorepani village.

Early in the morning, you will go on a short hike to Poon Hill to enjoy the gorgeous sunrise along with the western Himalayas. The trail then slowly ascends along ridges and goes through lush forests of rhododendron. You will reach Deurali and descend to Banthanti. From here, you will turn to Tadapani.

You will descend steeply through another beautiful rhododendron forest. Passing by a Gurung village, Gurjung, you will reach Chhomrong for a night's stay.

From here, the trail passes by dense forest and descends steeply to a rock bank. Further, you will trek through the dense forest of Bamboo along the west side of the river and reach the Himalayan Hotel.

The trail moves along the banks of Modi Khola and passes by lush rhododendron forests. We'll walk rough uphill and walk past Hinko Cave (3,170 m). From here, the trail leads to Deurali.

Leaving Deurali, the trail ascends along the mountainside to Machhapuchhre base camp (3,700 m). From here, you walk to Annapurna base camp, enjoying stunning mountain views.

From ABC, the trail descends and passes by terraced fields and lush meadows. You'll retrace the trail back to Bamboo.

From Bamboo, you will descend on a stone staircase. The trail then passes by evergreen fields and takes you to a small village. From here, you will descend on a steep trail and take you to Jhinu Danda, where you can enjoy a natural hot spring.

After having breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Nayapul. From here, you'll drive to Pokhara. Head to the hotel and reset for the day. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Phewa Lake.

After a quick breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu today. The drive will be long and scenic. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will move to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to shop and relax. In the evening, you join the farewell dinner organized by the company for you.

Your trip with us comes to an end. This is your last day in Kathmandu. As per your flight departure time, you leave for your home.
